Friday Day Passes: 49.99 + applicable taxes and surcharges

Q: I just want to see AKON, can I go for just one day?
A: Absolutely!! Day passes are available and range in price.
Q: Are there tickets available at the gate?
A: Yes, but there will be no guarantees on availability, and the price will be highest at the gate.
Q: Is this event all ages?
A: YES, however beer and coolers will be sold in designated 19+ fenced in beer tents. The general admission concert area near the stages is completely all ages.
Q: Is there a VIP area?
A: Yes, this will be a private, seated area with great sightlines to the stage and it will be fully licensed. Tickets are available by e-mailing info@1000islandsmusicfest.com. They are higher priced, but also include parking, and a great private area without the big crowds to fight through.
Q: My 8 year old son/daughter want to go, is there a children’s discount?
A: Unfortunately, if they’re going to a concert they pay for a ticket. The only exception to this is children under the age of 4. It is however recommended that children under 4 remain with a parent outside the heavily packed concert area.
Q: What can I bring to drink or eat?
A: No outside food or beverage will be allowed, with the exception of 1 500ml bottle of un-opened water. If the water is open, we will take it. There will be plenty of water, pop, and food available on site from several vendors.
Q: Can I bring lawn chairs?
A: Lawn chairs will not be permitted in the festival grounds, however they are permitted in the camping area.
Q: Can I bring an umbrella?
A: Unfortunately due to the nature of our event, no sharp objects will be allowed. If the forecast calls for rain, we suggest packing a raincoat.

Q: How does camping work?
A: Camping NEEDS to be purchased in advance. Prices for camping are $50.00 per weekend or $20.00 per single night. This camping ticket is valid for 2 people. If you have 10 or more people please e-mail info@1000islandsmusicfest.com for information on group rates.
Q: Can I bring alcohol to my campsite?
A: NO. All coolers, bags, and backpacks are subject to search at the gate. All outside alcohol will be taken. There is no alcohol in the campground.
Q: Can I just buy a camping pass?
A: When you enter the grounds, you’ll need to present your camping pass, and ticket together to be allowed entrance to both areas.
Q: Can we have a fire in the campsite?
A: NO. There will be no fires allowed.
Q: Can we bring our RV or Trailer?
A: Absolutely!! There will be a surcharge of $30.00 payable at the gate, and there are no in-out privileges for the RVs. Once you’re in, you’re in! If you leave you will pay that surcharge again. RV is the best deal we have, as you can have multiple people in one RV and you only pay for one site. Electrical hook-ups MAY be available but there is no guarantee, and water hook-ups are not available. RV sites will be separated from regular camping, and vehicles MUST remain parked!
Q: Is there a family friendly camping area?
A: Yes, there will be a separate family friendly camping area. It will be clearly marked, and will be for the use of families only. Children under the age of 4 will be admitted free of charge.
Q: Are there hotels in the area?
A: Yes, but if you’re considering this as an option, we recommend booking them now, as the whole area is nearly 75% booked already.
Q: When do we have to leave on Sunday?
A: The camping area will be closed at 1:00pm on Sunday. Tents, and personal belongings may be taken down, or removed by festival staff any time after 1:00pm.
Q: Can we drive into the camping area?
A: No, you will have to park, and walk to the site. But don’t worry, it will only be a few minutes on foot.

**for more information please refer to posted policy signs at the festival site**
Q: Is there alcohol being served?
A: Yes there is, however it’s only available in designated licensed 19+ areas. These will be clearly marked, and will have ZERO tolerance for under age entrance. BRING ID!! Our policy is to have EVERY person wishing to drink present ID to receive a special bracelet identifying him or her as over 19. We’re sorry, but even if you’re 65 years old, you may be denied entrance to the beer gardens.
Alcohol Policies:
1 – Underage consumption of alcohol is strictly prohibited, and will not be tolerated. If you are under the influence of any drug or alcohol and are underage, the police may charge you, and you will be removed from the grounds, with no refund.
2 – Intoxication will result in removal from licensed areas, and may result criminal charges. There is a strict limit of 4 drink tickets per person per visit, and you will only be served 2 beverages at a time.
